Default Doing some work this weekend, cam seal and oil trap

Ordered parts from FCPGroton, hope they come in this week so I can work on it this weekend.

To replace camshaft seal I need to?

1. remove timing belt cover
2. release tension on timing belt
3. remove camshaft pulley
4. remove and replace seal

Anything else? What type of grease should I use on the camshaft seal and where? Also, do I need to "lock" the camshaft to keep it from jumping or otherwise check marks?

To replace oil trap I need to?

1. remove intake manifold (or do I) and release fuel pressure
2. remove and replace oil trap

anything else?

Thanks for the help!

Just thinking out loud here... You may need a puller to get the pully off the cam shaft, while your in there it may not be a bad idea to the the timeing belt too... and the other 2 sealls i guess too...

Just rub a little motor oil on the seals before you put them in. (like you would on an oil filter gasket)

I would line up your timing marks. If you dont... you will probably have to later.

Its a non interferance engine, so if you didnt line it up, and had to spin it later to get them lined up, it wouldnt be a big deal, but its probably just easier to do it first.
