Engine Swap for 1986 244
I recently bought a 1986 244 and I’m looking to put a 6 cylinder in it just to push out that extra power and have the perfect sleeper. I’ve been doing car stuff for a while but never done an engine swap. What engines would y’all recommend and what all is needed to do a swap for this car?

True story - years back I was having my car serviced at Volvo of Westport (CT) when I noticed all the techs were standing around agog over a 960 wagon with hood open. I asked what was going on and the shop manager told me that car was owned by a local resident, Paul Newman. Paul's car just happened to have a 380 HP supercharged Ford V8 stuffed under the hood.
