Found oil leak need part name or if there is a gasket here that might be broke?

Default Found oil leak need part name or if there is a gasket here that might be broke?

Oil leak on this piece of my car what is it? Not the most handy but been doing good trying to get this car running on my own.And this is the part i can see a leak coming from to the outside.

That is the "oil separator box". It's a part of the pcv system.

Remove it...spray a bunch of brake cleaner in it...shake it up...pour it out...repeat.

Replace the box and hoses. It is very inexpensive and the proper way to maintain the vehicle.

If ya decide to replace the box don't cheap out with aftermarket... go whole hog with oe at fcpeuro for $55 lifetime warranty.

Aftermarket boxes are apt to split at the seam.

Or you can clean the box, soak it in some cleaner, root out the deposits... works if you can't get a new one.
