My 1990 volvo DL 240 car feels really stiff in the front. I did the test where you push down and let the car come back up. It didn't bounce, but instead came back up just once. Does this mean the shocks are bad? Should it have some flex and bounce a little?

 

If you pushed down on teh car and the suspension came back up and stopped your shock is dong what it should do.

Yep....Sounds good to me too.

Extra bounce would be a sign of bad shock/struts.....They arent controlling the rebound and what not...
