Fuel leak
Like the title says.....found a fuel leak on my grandsons 1990 Volvo 240DL sedan. It is leaking where the nylon fuel hose connects to the end of the banjo bolt at the outlet of the fuel filter. Is there a easy way to fix this? I really do not want to have to replace the banjo bolt and entire fuel line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. I was thinking possibly a small hose clamp to tighten down the hose at the fitting end of the banjo bolt.
Thanks in advance

Is it the nylon tubing that is leaking or is it the banjo fitting? I have seen the banjo fitting rust and get a pinhole leak. If that is the case then you must replace it. I have been successful in installing a new banjo fitting by cutting the old one off and installing a new one by heating the end of the tube. I found I had just enough slack in the line that it still worked with just removing the minimum amount of the nylon tube.
I would recommend against hose clamps as the pressure for this line is around 40-50 PSI.

So if I end up replacing some fuel line, can anyone tell me the inner and outer diameter of the rubber line that is attached to the fuel rail, and the inner and outer diameter of the nylon line with the banjo fitting that comes out of the fuel filter?
