Help removing return line from tank

Default Help removing return line from tank

I cant upload a pic from my phone. I cant get the return line off of my fuel tank so i can install my new fuel pump. I read something that it has a spring clip. It didnt have a hose clap and i tried to push it off and its like something is holding it inside the hose. Please help i need it for work monday

If you mean the hard plastic line, it should come off by push/pull. Hard to say what's causing to stick after all these years but that's the way. Spray something on it, twist it, pull it, etc. If you break it you'll need a new one...

I got it. It had a fitting above the rearend. Crapy thing is i still dont have any fuel. The pump wont turn on and it had power to it before we pulled the pump. Thats why we got a new pump
