help! spacers won't fit flush onto 1993 Volvo 240 hub
Hello all!
I'm new to this forum, and new to any Volvo forum in general. I currently own a 1993 Volvo 240 wagon that I rescued from a junkyard when I was 15, and its been my daily driver ever since. I just recently purchased some IPD 25mm wheel spacers, SAE wheel nuts & the lot to install some 16" 850 steelies to the car, but I found that my hubs have a pair of small guide bolts on them. I had forgotten this detail when I had put 740 Hydra wheels on the car a year ago. Is it safe to remove these bolts to install the spacers to ensure that the spacers are flush with the hub? IPD mentions in the sales description for the spacers that they will fit any 200/700/900 series car, just that 200's with small brakes (which mine has) will need a SINGLE brake pin/bolt removed prior to installation. However, my car has two. Is there any safe way to go about this?
I can provide pictures of the hub and the spacers.
Thanks,
Jack
