so does that have a side distributor or camshaft end? I do hope you meant to type 26 MPG, as I'm having issues believing 106.... Now, I had a 650cc motorcycle that got 80-100 if you were cruising smoothly.

I don't own a "hybrid" but came across one in the junkyard years ago. I think it was a 90 or 91 740 wagon...Regina under the hood with a pump under the car and in the tank.

I remember because I bought both pumps. They looked brand new...the under the car pump has been on my 240 for a couple years and the in tank pump is still in my basement.

I kinda prefer the one pump Regina cars. Just one pump to worry about and no maf sensor.

I have seen Regina cars with two pumps, that doesn't make them anything except Regina cars with two pumps. As far as the rest, yeah, right!

yeah, the single regina and (non-turbo) dual bosch FI pumps are pretty much interchangable as both systems need the same feed pressure and volume. In fact, later Bosch systems, like used on the 850, were a single in-tank pump, and you could probably use a 850 pump on a 240/740/940 except you'd need to adapt the tank pump/fuelsender assembly as they are probably a different size. an 850 T5 turbo pump would likely work with a lh2.4 turbo 940, too, as they require similar pressure and volumes.

a footnote, my mercedes 300E/E320's use NO tank pump, they just have an under-the-back-seat pump... except Mercedes uses two pumps in parallel, I think for reliability (car still runs 100% with only one).
