intermitant bogging

i have a 88 240 dl and in the last few days in the morning ill be driving around 40mph then it bogs down and i pull over turn it off and back on and then it runs fine again what would cause it to do that

MAFS comes to mind but it could be lots of things--need better description and history to make a better diagnosis...

Does it ever shut off or is it you the one that always turns it off.
