hey guys, first post here, i bought this car today, its a 1980 240dl. 4 speed manual, manual choke manual steering. power locks! and air conditioning, 177xxxkms on the odometer, no frame rust or rot, wheel wells need work. interior is almost mint, everything works, the hot cold slider for the heater is stiff and switches with a snapping sound left or right, dunno if its working or not, but the blower motor works as do all the lights, i need a new rear right taillight cover, it has a stainless steal exhaust from the headers back,clutch and tranny all seem smooth and nothing slips, funky shift pattern ive never had reverse located there before, lol. it has a small exhaust leak in the engine bay somewhere, and oil drips very slowly from the front of the engine somewhere, i will have to try and fix it,

i know nothing about these cars, i would love any advice or information from anyone who will help me out, im mechanically incline with 80s buicks gm ford western engines, and small import 4cyl.s but not anything Swedish, i only eat their candy berries, i have never seen a carburetor like this before, it looks like it could use a good cleaning, any one know anything about that crazy looking carb, thanks guys!
