(Kinda urgent) Heater not working after battery change
Hey! I just changed to a new battery on my 95' 940. When i went to work today, the heater will not work at all. I am pretty sure i've connected all the stuff that needs to be connected on their respective poles. Is there some "magical ritual" to connect the battery like the s60 does? Help is needed fast since i am freezing to death driving back and forth in -25°C
Also, try disconnecting the battery and place the negative battery cable on the positive post for 5 minutes (that is positive cable still connected, negative cable disconnected and placed on positive cable post.DO NOT JUMPER THE POSTS)
This will completely reset your car's electrical systems. Make sure the key is in the off position, in fact take it out and put it on your dash. Your climate control could be the problem, though I've never heard of this

Hmm.... Haven't checked them out. I'll give you an update on that when I'm done with work for today

Hey, all that matters is that you're not frozen to death, nor have you lost a limb.... Or have you?
The battery, oh yes. Did you place the negative cable on the positive post like I suggested? This speeds up the electrical bleed down exponentially.
