Before I junk this Volvo (89 240 DL 5 speed manual tranny) - there is allegedly a second fuel filter in the engine compartment that no one, including Volvo dealerships ever think of replacing (because they do not even know it is there).

Is there a second in-line fuel filter in the engine compartment?

 

not that i am aware of, unless some previous owner installed one in your car.

 

you didn't mention your issues with the car and why ask about a fuel filter. Are you getting some fuel starvation problems etc?
