yeah, the Hella black one is the right one for 1989-1995 cars, the others are for LH2.2, which was up to 1988 (and 1989 740 turbos)

Waiting for the weather to clear up so I can change the manifold gasket and the ECT.
is there a torque spec for the ECT?
I read that the manifold bolts needs to be 18 lb-ft

I think I had some fuel come out of the intake by cylinder 1. Is this a problem?

More importantly, how did you guys get the nuts on the manifold torqued? I can’t get my torque wrench to fit on the two bottom inner ones

Edit: got it all back together. EXCEPT, I forgot to put the back bracket on engine back!! Is this going to be a problem? From what it seems, that bracket wasn’t holding anything in place?

I don't torque those, just get them tight, not crazy tight--I know this is not scientific but use your judgement, go by the ones you did torque, get the feel of it. Lots of parts have torque specs, many are impossible to put a big torque wrench on. In 50 years of wrenching I've never had a problem.
I never torque anything except for internal engine parts, head bolts and such. Just use good judgement!
