Default lost power

1991 volvo 240 200,000 miles. Well I had this problem once before but it temporarily fixed itself but the problem re-appeared with a vengeance. I was driving in the rain both times i don't if it is related. but when i was driving about 70mph the car began to studder and lose power. ultimately the car stalled. it would restart but if i touched the gas pedal it would stall. The volvo would idle very rough and even the slightest touch on the gas pedal would stall the car..any suggestion out there?

Hi. Did you ever check into the crank sensor last time? Driving uphill in the rain both times and get an AMM code? And it's forward in the engine compartment...possibly a connector getting wet? Still, the car will run w/ no AMM. I still would lean towards the crank sensor...let us know if it's been replaced.

Mass Air Flow Sensor, probably another name for the AMM, Air Mass Meter? My first guess also...
