Default Lot of oil in intake after intercooler

So my worst fears look like they are coming true. I undid the pipe that leads into the intake and there is a crap ton of oil in it :'(

I assume this means my turbo is toast? It still gives me boost. I was wondering why i had burnt through allot of oil. This also probably explains my lack of power too.

What should i do? the engine was replaced a while back so i dont know the true mileage.

is it safe to drive?

Not familiar with turbo models but what about your FLAME TRAP....? Clean it as I read it causes oozing oil problems...Under the intake manifold ......a little pipe that has a plastic filter...lots of small hoses...and the black box as well...

but sounds like you know more about turbos.....

Looking at a Turbo diagram....740 model.....the crankcase ventilation hose routing comes from the flame trap under the intake manifold over the Valve cover and onto, on what looks like the pipe/hose to the turbo...?

How much oil is in there? A little is OK. If there is a LOT, you need some Turbo attention which is less terrible than it sounds: good used units are $100 or you can get it rebuilt or even do it yourself with a kit.
