Default Starting problem

So the car has a problem starting that's getting worse. I've been told it's not the ignition switch, the battery, the starter or the alternator. What else could it be?

Default Check engine light

Hi Goldenblock. Are you still with me? The car is still having starting problems. I thought it was going to leave me stranded today. It clicked and clicked and finally turned over. I also saw someting I haven't seen before. When I got home toight I left the engine running and popped the hood to see how things were going. I've had problems lately with adjuster screws breaking and the alternator and belt loosening so I wsnted to make sure it was fixed. As I warched the car running, all of a sudden the positive battery cable sparked and the engine stalled. I tried restarting it but it just cranked. It finally restarted but I could still see sparks coming from the battery on the positive side. Could the problem be bad battery cables? Also, do you have a website?

If you have sparks from there, obviously the cable or the battery is bad! Use caution, may explode or start a fire!

Default Starting problem

You are correct lev. I disconnected the battery cables and cleaned them thoroughly. After reinstalling the cables the car started perfectly and now runs much better.
