need help!!!

I found a door for my 940 volvo but dont know if it will fit. So the question is will a back door from a 87 volvo 740 wagon fit on my 92 volvo wagon? need help asap im about to drive 200 miles tomorrow to pick it up .

back door as in tailgate?

they did make some minor body changes circa 1990, I don't know if this impacts the tail gate. is your 1992 a 740 or 940? (in 1991/92, those model wagons differ in trim levels only)

both doors and tailgates are basically the same but the trim will be different. you should be able to swap that.

no the back passenger door.... Are they the same doors? the pics look like there the same size

hmmm, I can't say for sure. I thought they changed the shape of the trimline 'crease' in the door at some point between early 740 and the 940 (which includes 91/92 740)
