Default need help

so I found a garrett turbo from pick n pull and new exhaust manifold for my 93 940 wagon. picked it up for 100 bucks but now that i have replaced that and my breather box the car now goes up to about 3000 and acts like it's redlining, I let off the gas and it kills itself. I put a new exhaust manifold gasket and new lines for the turbo. idk wtf the problem is.
all work I've done-
- "new"turbo/ exhaust manifold.
- new exhaust manifold gasket
- new breather box ( oil trap )
- new starter
- new plugs cap and rotor
- new Air Intake Tube Mass Sensor to Turbocharger
- new intake manifold gasket
- new valve cover gasket
- had a new water pump when bought( less then 5000 miles on it )
- timing belt was done 12,000 miles ago

the car never had a problem till I put this new turbo on the last one feel apart. idk what else to do some advice would be amazing if some one can help

It's hard to deal with this kind problem on a forum, i.e. without laying of hands. This kind of massive part swap always poses the question, were all parts good/functional? Were all parts installed correctly? It's better to change one thing at the time, see how it affected the car's condition. All I can add is to help is to advise you to recheck your work, verify that what could be causing the problem is double checked.

indeed, its always best to start with the last thing you did before it went sideways.

IIRC, 93's came with Mitsubishi TD04 turbos, not garrets.
