No start
1983 240 cranks but will not turn over. Car has been sitting for a while. Prior to trying to starting her up, I removed the hose going to the injector fuel rail and jumpered fuses positions 5 & 7. Barely a dribble out of the hose. Added 4 gallons fresh gas and tried again, still a dribble. I do hear the main fuel pump buzzing.
Any ideas would be appreciated

drain the fuel tank, test the fuel pumps separately from the system, flushing them fuel pumps with clean gas and jumpered power, then put it all back together with a new fuel pickup sock and main fuel filter... add fresh gas and see if you get fuel flow at the rail ... the fuel pressure regulator very well may be crusty inside, and the injectors could be clogged too.
change the oil, and oil filter. check compression in all 4 cylinders.
new spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, distributor cap to ensure the ignition system has a decent baseline.
new air filter, as the old one likely has moss growing on it. make sure there's no rodent nests in there.
once its running drive it a couple days and do another oil change. dump the old coolant, flush the cooling system with water, drain that, then add a few gallons of Zerex G05 concentrate 50-50 with distilled water.
now you are at a baseline and can move forward.
