As per the subject line, I am wondering if I have an oil leak from the turbo. I know I have an oil leak somewhere because after the car has been running a bit, there is a burning oil smell so some must be getting someplace hot. I am not sure where the leak is, but it looks like it might be around the turbo. I just replaced the valve cover gasket and that seems to be fine.

most common spot is the turbo oil return line gasket (no other $.10 part can make a bigger mess...).

 

needs a good wash. with all this caked on old oil it's hard to tell...
