91 740, and as i was driving to a show with some band stuff and a few people in my car. I saw the oil light come on for a second or two every so often as i was giving the car more gas. Now i checked the oil and it was fine, i even put a quart in and that seemed to stop it. I wonder what was wrong.

 

Was it even the slightest bit low?
Is the wire in the sensor in good condition?
Is the engine wiring harness in good condition?

 

Well im not sure about all that tech, as i dont know where to find that stuff, but i changed it today and ill see how she goes.

Changed the oil and took it on the parkway, and no oil light came on. Must have been a freak thing.
