Steering Wheel Removal Going South
I'm trying to fix the squeaky dash and I'm getting stuck with removing the steering wheel. I'm stripping the Torx bolts that hold the airbag in place.
Anyone know if I can drop the steering wheel rack/frame/whatever its called to remove the dash? Would it be difficult or ill-advised?

The two bolts under the dash drop the column. You should be able to just do that.
Are you removing the dash pad or the entire dash? Just wondering cuz you can remove the pad without removing the wheel.

Thanks! It looked like that was an option but I didn't want to try something 'new' without checking first.
I'm pulling the whole thing - I want to fix the mounting tabs at the firewall.
