problems w/ 940 gasometer

Default problems w/ 940 gasometer

at around half a tank my gasometer starts being affected by any slope. are there any quick fixes for this?

What ta heck is a gasometer? LOL, never heard that one before. I assume your talking about your fuel gauge. Mine will change a little on slopes too but that's normal. Inside the tank the fuel level sending unit is inside of a fairly large round baffle that lets fuel inside of it from the bottom and sides so alittle fluctuation with the float is going to happen. Typically the gauge is designed to lag to offset sloshing of the fuel. This lag keeps the needle from constantly going up and down during corners or when you hit a bump. Hope this helps.

ya, it seems like gasometer might be a local anomaly. thanks for the help though.
