My friend brought it to my attention the other day that my 1989 240 Volvo DL sits lower in the back. So we tested the shock by pressing down the trunk area and see how it bounced. It bounce about 2-3 times so it appears the shock needs to be replaced. But I am low on cash. This is my only car and I am really into babying it. If I drive around with the shock worn out for about 3 months(untill I get my tax return) is there any potential damage to the car?
