For some reason I can't find any info on how to remove the AC compressor and/or belt. Do all the bolts period need to be removed from the AC to give it wiggle room ? The top bolt that goes through the bracket immediately above the AC and has a bolt and nut set up with a small for a small bar to go through it is completely loose and still did not loosen the AC.

 

There are several more bolts you need to loosen besides the adjustment one you speak of. Hard to explain like this, but just loosen all the horizontal bolts on there, it will come loose eventually. Think of it as a pivot, work around it...
