Replacing a power steering pump.

Replacing a power steering pump.
So i have found a power steering pump with all the aux parts for a good price. It does not seem like a too daunting job so i am going to attempt it. One problem i have notice is i could not loosen the two bottom bolts on the AC compressor so i had to cut that belt off. Is there a way i can bypass the AC compressor and just run the power steering off the crank pulley?
any procedures i need to do before i attempt this?
my local dealer slash mechanic quoted me over 200 for JUST the pump and not the pulley or the tank or labor. found a 91 pump that should fit my 92 at a junk yard for 60 bucks.
