Hi would the driver side indicator light from a Y Reg volvo 740 GLE fit my 1992 volvo 940s?

 

does teh 740 have the same headlight style as this 940? I think there's 3-4 different 740 headlight configurations depending on the year and submodel, each use different side lights. on the 940, there's at least two, the simple rectangular lights and the ones with integrated fog lamps, these use different side marker lights.

 

On this side of the pond YReg means nothing; specify the year model, may be production date, to get help.

 

a US model 1992 940 probably has the fancy fogs (all nasty yellowed plastic by now). these have fog lamps that fit all the fancy-fog 89+ 760/940/960. (but not the 94+ facelift 960) my 92 740T wagon has the simple rectangle lights, they use a slightly different side marker.

the older 740's used different lamps, and fenders, they won't fit. there's a year or two in the middle what /nothing/ else fits.

but what he said, "y-reg" means nothing to us.

Hi guys i was looking to bid on a sidelight off ebay. I asked the seller to give me information and would it fit my 92 volvo he said he was away and was not sure, although in his listing put it up as 740/940 etc in the end i left it.
