'94 940T SE? Hmmm. No really such animal, the 940SE is only 1991. Important because the schematic you have is for a R12 system and the '94 would be a R134... So, please clarify.

 

You can either charge it at the accumulator or from the back of the compressor. I would hook up a set of gages 1st to see what the problem is.

 

Use the connection on the accumulator on the firewall. Less chance of error. It's really a crap shoot blindly adding refrigerant. Without a set of gauges to see the current functioning and pressures, it's easy to add too much refrigerant. The end result on an old systems is all too often, blown compressor seals.
