hello, i am new here. seems like a great forum.

i am 17 and purchased my 2nd volvo recently (see my sig)

it has the AW71 trans/b230ft and i have a little problem. when i stop or accelerate moderately hard sometimes the transmission makes a bang/clunk noise. it also happens sometimes when i go over speed bumps or make a tight turn. my guess is that this is the rear transmission mount where the tranny attatches to the X-member. who else has experience with this?

 

It could be that or a bad Carrier bearing or the rubber support.
