Default Turn signals not working

Hey,

On my 1990 240 wagon, I've replaced the turn signal switch, the flasher, and the fuse multiple times but the fuse gets blown whenever the car is running. The turn signals will work for hours if the car is not on, but with the engine running a fuse will only last a couple of minutes before it gets blown. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
-Eli

That fuse is shared with the back-up lights, so you might try putting it into reverse with the car off, key on and see if it blows.

Water was leaking into my car and doing some damage. I got the fuse box cleaned up and just bought a bunch of fuses to fix the problem. Every other month or so they stop working, and a good jiggle on the fuse itself will fix it. Good luck with yours!
