Default valve adjustment

I've done valve adjustments on an old Meercedes that I had. I was wondering if doing one on my 740GL is similar. On the Merc. I would check the clearances with the cam lobe and rocker arm with the lode straight up. Is this similar on the B230F? Does anyone know what the clearances should be?

Look on the Cam shaft and find the lowest point usually the lobe will be pointed at like 11 or 2.

The clearance should be .30 to .40 cold engine and .35 to .45 warm engine I always use a 16 and 19 fuller guage and if 16 fits and 19 doesn't it is fine. If 19 fits then it needs to be reshimmed.
