Default Volvo 240 5 speed transmission swap

Hi I just bought my first Volvo it's a 92 240 sadan so far I like the car but the only drawback is its an automatic. I got it for such a good deal it was hard to pass up and at the junkyard I found a wagon 240 same body style and everything as mine but a 5 speed, what would I need to do the 5 speed swap and what would I have to modify? I'm just looking for a general parts list and recommendations for completing the swap

at a minimum, you'll need the pedal assembly from under the dash with the clutch stuff, you'll need the transmission (duh), the flywheel off the manual engine (see * below), the drive shaft (different lengths), and the shifter+linkage. and the clutch itself, of course.

* if the donor car is a 89+, one less thing to worry about. otherwise, you'll need a flywheel from an 89+ manual 240, and you'll need to cut a notch into the bell housing for the crank position sensor. reason being, 1989+ 240's use LH2.4 fuel injection which uses a crank position sensor, while pre-89's were LH2.2 and used a hall sensor in the distributor for timing.

14 years later I have a question; would there be any modification required when putting a newer m/t into an older car - like an m47 from an 89+ Lh 2.4 car into a 85 Lh 2.2 car?
