Hello all, I have a question regarding my 1989 volvo 240 odometer. Of course mine doesn't work, and I've replaced the gear and have followed all the tips I have been given, so I'm looking for a replacement speedo/odo.

Anyways my question is: Will a speedo/odo from a 740 fit in my wagon? I ask this because while looking around a junk yard for a bumper for my dads truck, I found a few volvo 740 sedans that had been mostly picked clean EXCEPT the instrument clusters. I don't know what years they were since I couldn't get a good look at them from the front and sides. In order to get inside I had to walk on the roofs of other cars, and then once I got on top of a 740 I would push some weeds and thorn bushes out of the way in order to lower myself down through a window.

Anyways any answers would be great. I just hope I can find these cars again. All of them seemed to have working odometers before they were wrecked.
