Volvo died on the road - troubleshooting (and vacuum hoisery questions)
The windshield on my car leaks, and it rained a lot in the last couple of days, so I took the Volvo for a short 14 mile round trip ride to pick up a pizza last night, which gave me a chance to run the fan on the carpets to help dry them out. However, as I neared an intersection, the car just died, and wouldn't restart. It's never ot restarted under similar circumstances in the past. When i turn the key to the II position, I'm pretty sure the fuel pumps are still functioning, and delivering fuel to the engine. I checked the vacuum hoses that I replaced, and they seemed to still be solid, though I think there's still a leak of few somewhere based on the way the car behaves when it's driving (shuddering during acceleration and particularly at lower speeds). I unplugged the air mass meter, to see if maybe it had failed, and see if limp home mode was an option, but still nothing. The car cranks and cranks, but won't fire up. Any suggestions? Also, is there a kit available for vacuum hose replacement? I'd like to do a full hose replacement, but I don't know what sizes I need, and how long they have to be. I guess you can buy it by the foot from auto parts stores? If there's no kit, what sizes will I need and do you just mate it up to the old one for length?

The LH-2.0 fuel injection system has two relays that may have become waterlogged. There's a system relay and a fuel pump relay. Both are mounted on the firewall near the ECU, above the passenger's feet. I would check them out first.
