Default WHAT TYPE(BRAND) OF GASKET SEALER for (TRANNY)
What type(brand) of gasket sealer should I use on my upcoming transmission pan/filter removal. It will be the first time with my 88 Volvo wagon DL A/T.

I don't use any and have only replaced the filter twice in 300K miles. I change the fluid every 50K miles when I do a timing belt change. Installing dry has never leaked.

Thankks Jagtoes! That's all I needed to know. I just orderd the kit from FCP for my 88 240 Volvo. Will be changin/flushing the tranny fluid/filter next week.
