Default Would it matter?

I took the car for alignment today and they said that they couldnt do it because the strut mount was damaged, so one question, if i dont change this part, would there be a major damage?

If the cost is not so bad, you should better off changing both, this way you will save time and maybe in a couple of months you will end up changing the other.
Its better once for both, one labor charge for both instead of two separate charges.
