After I screwed up and blew the motor in my 850 turbo...I had to find a cheap replacement.
tonight I bought a 92 740 turbo sedan.
The guy didnt mention till I got there to test drive that it had some performance bits on it. He didnt know all the details as the previous owner had done the work.
What I do know is the boost kicks like a made horse! And the BOV (if thats what it has) is 3 times louder than the one on my 850.
I was driving a car im not used to, so was not able to pay attention to the gauges (has aftermarket boost and rpm gauges)

What is the stock PSI boost for this model? Stock hp number?

I will be picking the car up next week. It needs some TLC, cosmeticaly and rear brake pads installed (easy)

I may know more than about whats been done under the hood. I was told the fuel injectors are not stock. Car also has a IPD banner on the rear windshield and a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler (or maybe cat back)

I was pressed to find a car quickly, and had to look/test drive this one at night. I usually would never buy a car looking at it in the dark, but need a car yesturday...lol

Anyway Im looking forward to working on this car. Should be way easier than the 850!
