So I've noticed recently a problem popped up. Occasionally, when I start my car I have no control of my turn signals, the switches behind the steering wheel, the power seats, and I'm not able to shift the car out of park. With a couple of restarts, this goes away, but my roommate notified me today as we were driving that none of my brake lights work but my tail lights are still functioning. I can't even begin to comprehend what could be causing this. Any ideas or is this a common problem with an easy fix?

 

could be the ignition switch. try jiggling the key when it acts up to see if anything changes
