Newbie, V90 ???
Greetings. Haven't got a clue about Volvo but hoping to be a owner of a '98 V90 soon. It has 106K and it seems like a solid car. The sunroof doesn't slide and on the power seats is stuck. They are asking $6300 for it. What do you guy think and any comments on what to look for on this model is greatly appreaciated. Thanks and great site.

RE: Newbie, V90 ???
It already has three problems, faulty sunroof, power seats, and timing belt.
It's about time that the car wants its owner to spend lots of money on it
Volvos are high maintenance vehicles and if you are ok spending extra 4000 dollars on top of what they are asking, then do it.
I wouldn't buy it for 6300. When you buy a Volvo, you want to get at least inspection certificate.
The cost to fixany volvo problems is high.
Have you known they they change the oil every like 5000 or 7500 miles? With 98 V90, I'm don't think they even used synthetic.
If you look atmost usedvolvo cars on the market out there, the mileage range is between 95000 to 130000. That's when they want some money of their owners to be spent on them.
