i've got a 1996 960 wagon and there are some fault codes coming up on the transmission.......Mode selector switch signal, oil temp, TCM and Gear Selector switch signal.....So i reset the comp, flushed the system, changes the fliters and the drove it for a few days. The only code that came back was the Gear selector switch signal aka safety neutral switch. What should i do now? Can someone please help.

 

Replace the PNP(Nuetral Safety Switch).

 

thats the module underneath the veh on the tranmission correct?

 

It is on the right side of the trans. It slides onto a shaft.
