1993 850 GLT
I have a 1993 850 GLT and I am new to Volvos. I just recently purchased this vehicle and have been tuning up the car. I have questions about the following:
1. I have an air filter that seems to go to the computer or something that I can't find a replacement for its like 6"X3" and has an intake right above the raditor.
2. I have have a GLT that doesn't mean that I have a Turbo right? There seem to be no markings interior as well as under the hood.
3. I have power locks, but no where inside the cabin is there a button to lock/unlock the doors. Is this normal?
List of Repairs that I intend to do:
1. Replace the oil plug with one that has a magnet on it. (Also place crush washers on this plug, oil seems to leak at the plug)
2. Remove the instrument cluster and replace the lights (Hopefully I can find a match at my local autoparts dealers. I haven't been able to look them up yet)
3. Replace clutch soon, clutch is letting out at the very top, and I can't seem to fine the adjustment.
4. Replace the rotors, I think rotors are warped. When I hit the brakes the car shakes.
4. Replace the Timing belt.
Any helpful information about helping with the repairs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. You can run with out that filter it is pretty much BS unless you want to buy one from the Dealer.
2.You have NO turbo.
3.You have single stage locking it is controled by the drivers door lock only.
Search on the forum for tips on making repairs from your list.
