SOMETIMES-hot or cold weather or after driving for a while car just won't start. Cranks and cranks until the battery dies. The next day it starts right up. chck engine, abs, trac lights are on intermittently. A-2 code 4-1-1, and A-3 codes 3-1-4, 1-4-1, 1-4-2. Has in past had slow shifting from gear to gear, and a little rough idling, these things come and go. Had the car for 14 years and now that I want to get rid of it it starts throwing tantrums. I just want it to start every time so I can sell it. It has 130000 and is used 2 or 3 times a week, and has had fairly regular maintenance, I guess, and timing belt, serpentine belt(s), fuel pump, various hoses and brake jobs as needed. Took it to the shop, and of course it started every time for them, they kept it for a day testing regularly and found no problem but charged me a hefty sum anyway so that's it. I'm not spending any more on this beast. How can I fix this problem myself, please, ANYBODY?! JGH columbus ohio
