Do you have a check engine light? If so read the codes as it will give us a point in the right direction. Since it runs, you know you have air, fuel, spark, compression and proper timing, we just have to figure out which one is lacking once in awhile

 

So the car will start up now but runs very rough then dies and I can see voltage coming off the MAF throught the OBD scanner. I am getting the code P0120 for the TPS. Anyone had this issue before?

 

I bought a 1994 non running 850. For $6.00 bucks I went to salvage yard and picked up a fuel pump fuse. Started right up, but then I found out the MAF was bad so I just disconnected it and ran it around. I got by for 6 months before I sold it. That's my 2 cents.

 

I think I have finally figured out what the issue is. Its seems the fuel pump is on its last legs. The car again refused to start so I lightly tapped on the fuel pump housing and the car started, ran rough, then died. I started it back up and while it was running I tapped on the housing again each time it sounded like it was gonna die and it bounced back. So its definitely the fuel pump dying. I'm going to order up a new fuel pump. Anyone replaced this with just a Bosch 69693? I think this should be all I need or is there a replacement kit?

 

Turns out there was a corroded wire to the fuel injection relay that I needed to resolder. Starts up like a champ now.
