So here's the deal I was driving the other day and my car instantly got louder, a lot louder. I heard scraping and pulled over and saw the back half of my catalytic converter dragging on the ground.

I was able to get it off the ground with a coat hanger but the problem is I am moving halfway across the country in two weeks and money is scarce.

I was wondering if you guys had any thought or suggestions about what to do and how much it might cost. So any help would be, well helpful.

see if you can get under there and use exhaust hangers to tie it up out of the way. it's still gonna be loud, but it'll get you where youre going.

 

Its out of the way but I want to get something done about it before I drive 16 hours..
