850 t5 pcv replacement issue
Hi
I just purchased a 850 t5 and determined the pcv needed replaced after some checks.
I changed the system with all volvo parts. When starting the car the engine literally shakes and if I press the accelerator and take my foot off it just does what it wants and goes straight into high revs! It will only stop if I turn off the ignition!
can anyone help!

assume you removed the throttle linkage into the throttle body so best to check that is retracting properly and closing the throttle plates. Next if took off the intake manifold to access the PCV tubes, suggestion is to spray some carb cleaner around looking for vacuum leaks.
Hi guys, thanks for the ideas to help me out! I did have a pinch point behind the right-hand side of the intake manifold causing a big time leak! I changed the gasket again and made sure it was tightened flush this time! All is well now!
Thanks again!
