i have a 93 850 ,the first time you get in it of the day ,you have to turn the key sevral times ,it sounds as if the starter spins but does not connect ,it only does this when the engine is cold ,is this a starter?or solenoid,the solenoid looks clean as if it has been replaced.

 

Sounds like a bad starter.

 

how hard are these to change?it looks pretty tight!

Its realy not all that bad it comes out the top.
