95 850 turbo
i have a 1995 850 turbo that i just bought, I need to know if all 850 turbo came with keyless entry, just bought a new remote and can not get it to program. also the fuel gauge is not working, where should i start first in trying to find the problem. thanks any help would be great.
I believe on the '95 model remote central locking (keyless entry) was offered as an option.
So in answer to your first question, 850 turbos were not fitted with remote central locking as standard; it had to be specified and, consequently, many were.
Sorry, but I don't have any suggestions on how to fix your faulty fuel gauge.

The red LED constantly blinks when the doors have been locked. Remote is not required for activating security system.
Mentioning the little LED unit on top of the dashboard close to the windscreen can be a little misleading.
The function of the LED unit is to register any attempt to tamper with the vehicle when the driver is absent (i.e. the LED emits a series of regular flashes when the alarm is activated and glows steadily if any attempt has been made to tamper with the vehicle.
This LED unit can be activated by either normal (i.e. standard key) or remote locking (optional extra).
If Wadell1963 vehicle has one of these LED units on the dashboard then all that can be said with any accuracy is the vehicle may/maynot be fitted with keyless entry. It would be necessary to locate things like remote locking control relays etc. (another subject altogether)
