Default 95 T5-R question about motor

Newer to the volvo world, i own a 95 850 T5-R and love it! heres the problem, recently i spun a rod bearing due to oil cooler line coming off at radiator!! so its rebuild time, ive got a crank out of a 2.4 turbo which i know is the same as 2.3 my question is if i throw some cxracing h-beam rods in with the new crank will i need to have the motor balanced? thanks rob

When ever you rebuild the motor I would recommend always balancing the rotating assy...
Especially if your using a used crank..

As far as the rods go MAKE SURE you get them balanced weight wise, as Boxpin will tell you (he just got his done) there was a 5g difference in the weight of the rods. As a rule of thumb regardless of brand if your buying rods always get them balanced/matched before you use them
