Default AC leaks, evaporator?

Another problem I am trying to square away on my 850 is to locate my refrigerant leak. A sytem recharge last around 1.5 weeks. The last charge I added contained a dye additive to help find the leak. All the areas I can see without removing anything are ok, no dye or oil residue. Is there a part of the system that has been prone to leaks than others? My thoughts were it would be on the high pressure side? Anyone ever found and repaired the AC system, were was the leak?

I haven't gone around with a flame type leak detector yet, just trying to identify if there is a component that is most likley to be the leak source based on experience.

Thanks!

Most leaks will be from the Evaperator on these cars.

The drain comes out under the car.It comes out around the Cat Converter area.

You could also remove the blower motor resistor and see the evaperator to check for dye.

Thanks for the quick response Tech. This forum is fortunate to have you as a moderator.

I'll visually investigate the evaporator and report back. I'll borrow a friends leak detector and see if I can dectect R143a comming out of the vents which would point towards the evaporator.
