Default Anyway to fix heated seats/ make stronger?

Hi everyone,
Mu 850 has heated seats and they somewhat work, but for a 15 year old car, the heat isn't that strong.. is there anyway I could fix them so they could work better? Like a recharge if that's possible?

A recharge? A heated seat has coils that run underneath the leather skin, you can't recharge it. Best thing you could do is buy a working seat heater and remove the seat skin, and replace.

...or change the thermo switch to a higher temp. Dont ask me where to get one but thats what shuts it off at a specific temperature.

I would buy a new heater pad and just replace it. I would not use a working used one because it would be no fun to have to replace it in a year.

Has anyone ever measured the seat surface temperature of a heated seat ?

As for the heater being "weak" the other thing to check is the wiring, switch and connectors leading to it. A little corrosion at a connector could hinder the heater getting the full amperage it would need to heat the seat properly.
I would guess it's the sensor getting out of spec though.
